configure: error:

This particular compiler version is blacklisted because it is known to miscompile KDE. PLease use a newer version, or if that is not yet available, choose an older version.

Please do not report a bug or bother us reporting this configure error. we know about it, and we introduced it by intention to avoid untraceable bugs or crashes in KDE.

Thanks for anyone who helps, please I'm new, be nice! My distro is FC4.

KDE does not support GCC 4.0 yet. Kopete is one of the KDE applications.

I'd suggest that you update your KDE package on FC4. The latest is 3.4.2, which includes kopete 0.10.3.

If you don't have KDE installed on your machine, try the following command:
Code:
# yum install kdenetwork
This will install all the necessary packages for you.
