kooza or other scanning s/w

Hi folks

Got any recomendations?

kooza I like the look of, but where can I find a .deb of it for Ubuntu (jaunty)

Kooka is getting old and is an abandonateware. X-sane is the one installed on Ubuntu by default, but is overcomplicated. Apps like KolourPaint and The Gimp also have build in scanning components.
