Kontact export into Evolution

I would like to take all of the information out of Kontact and inport them into Evolution.

I can not see an export menu or button in Kontact so how dose one do it ?

Well, I think there is no general export feature in Kontact, but we have separate export features for every part of it (as far as I know). You can export your contact info (email, address, phone num, etc...) from kaddressbook. Your emails simply can be copied from your current mail storage folder to the new folder. I don't know what else you have, but it's a good idea to start every part of kontact as a stand-alone application (like kmail, kaddressbook, akregator, etc...) and search for export features.
