Konqueror will only start on root account, but I don't want that.

I can start konqueror by:

1.) opening it in the root account
2.) Opening it in a root console (from my user account)
3.) setting shortcuts to USE the root account as the user.

HOWEVER, just 30 minutes ago, I was able to use konqueror just fine from my user account AND root account. Then, I just restarted my PC (didn't install anything new....just switched from linux to windows then back to linux) and now konqueror won't start under my user account. Only root.

To describe what I mean by it not starting, anything konqueror based (file manager included) will apear like it's trying to start up on the taskbar, but the hourglass while just keep spinning, then the taskbar item will go away an nothing comes up. Unless I do one of the 3 items above. I would like to run konqueror from my user account instead of using one of those 3 methods.

I realized that it happens when i Plug in my Lexar Jump Drive. Is there a way that I can keep it from happening and still use my 1GB flash drive?
