Konqueror Web Browser

Well I got Mozilla running fine with all the plugins I want (mplayer, java, shockwave). I was wondering if anyone got at least java running good in the Konqueror browser. I went to the configuration, enabled java globally, and browsed to java in the /usr/java/j2re1.4.1/bin directory. Java still isn't working right. If anyone has java working good with konqueror help me out.

Please don't respond with "why don't you just stick with mozilla", i just want to get it working.

Have you linked the java plugin to Konqueror's plugins directory?

Why don't you just stick with... Oh, uh, nevermind

he he he

Been a while since I've used k, but I think you do the browsing instead of having a single plugin directory. If that's so, then browse to the directory, it looks like you stopped too early:
/usr/java/j2re-1.4.1/bin/plugins..blah...blah Sorry, not on linux right now (at work on w2k). But I think you will see my point once you get there.

Cool

You also have to be careful to use a compatible Java environment, Blackdown.org's definitely works with Konqueror - http://konqueror.org/javahowto/
