Konqueror: search bar and profiles

Hello

I'm running Fedora 8 2.6.23.9-85.fc8.

A little issue: I can't place my search bar right beside my main toolbar. The locationBar does get there if I change, in konqueror.rc, its "newline" to "false", but not the search bar. In Settings > Toolbars, the search bar is a separate toolbar, but whatever I do, I can't make it appear as an option for "Main Toolbar".

My workaround: move it all to Location bar and take the Main Toolbar out. Now I have icons, Address bar and search bar in one single row, exactly the way I wanted.

With one single problem: I don't have the extra buttons when I'm viewing some specific kinds of files, i.e., I don't have "zoom in" and "zoom out" when I'm viewing images.

Back to konqueror.rc, I've noticed it's the <Merge/> tag what makes them appear, but changing it from "Main Toolbar" to "Location Toolbar" has no effect: these buttons only appear in the "Main Toolbar".

So I've thought about another workaround:

Is it possible to make Konqueror automatically open a determined profile when I'm viewing certain file type? I mean, if I'm now in "Web browsing" and I click on text or image, to open these files with a different profile? This way, I could make the Main Toolbar appear only when I'm viewing these kinds of files.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
