Unhappy "Konqueror" problem


Hey! Can someone help me please !!??
I`m using slackware 10.2
I have a problem/error when I trying to open "Konqueror" - ""Could not finde mime tipe application/octet-stream"" What thats means and how can I fix that ?? Thx everyone, please help me..

No expert, but mime types are basically file types (i.e. the mapping that says .xls files are spreadsheets). It sounds like Konqueror can't find the map to know what any files are that it is listing so it pukes. Not sure how to fix it though... Sorry I couldn't be more help...

Thanks anyway =) I`m stiil have that problem.. Anybody can help ? I`ts shows that error when I`m start the startx from the beginning.. And then when I cross the mouse over text files and traying to open them.. but otherwise everythig seems working ok BUT I dont like that error.. So.., please somebody help me with that! ?
