konqueror opens in different desktop

I just upgraded KDE to 3.2 on my Slackware 9.1 box. Now when I open the Konqueror file manager, it always opens in desktop 2 no matter which desktop I'm in.

Weird!

Any ideas?

Maybe you saved the window settings that way. Start Konqueror and click on the down triangle in the upper left corner. Check if "To Desktop" is set to 2. If that is your problem then mess around with the window settings until you get rid of the problem. I had this problem a long time ago and I don't remember what key sequence gets rid of the problem.

Thanks for the info.

The "To Desktop" is, indeed, set to Desktop 2; however, that's as it should be since the check mark reflects which desktop is currently active.

Anyway, I played around with the settings by setting and saving. Now konqueror opens in Desktop 1. Not what I'd call progress. :)

So, perhaps someone who has seen this problem and remembers the solution can point me in the right direction.
