konqueror initial window position

Is there a way of changing the initial window position of konqueror? Everytime I open it, it opens on the up left corner which is pretty annoying because I have to drag it all the times to the center of the screen. I would like it to remember the last position before closing so that the next time I open it it comes up on that position(a windows like behaviour), or at least I'm searching for a way of manaully fixing its initial position on the screen.

Thanks

(I'm using KDE 3.2)

not that i know of. for kde, there looks to be 5 different placements available. you can find these by:

1. open a shell and type command kcontrol.
2. on the left frame, navigate Desktop > Window Behavior
3. on the right frame, click the Moving tab
4. look for the Placement option (this is the drop down list).

the default placement is smart, so when you open your very first program in a session, it will place the program on the top left corner. all other programs will then be opened to an area of the desktop with the most open space.

the window placement options are:

1. Smart
2. Cascade
3. Random
4. Centered
5. Zero-Cornered

Locating these options maybe different for your version of kde as i'm running kde 3.1.1. also, depending on your version of kde, you may have more control over window placement of applications.
