Konqueror in KDE4

I'm running Konqueror in KDE4.
The F9 (or shift F9) key won't launch the sidebar.
Anyone have any idea what that glitch may be?
It isn't the default file manager but it shouldn't matter.
Help would be appreciated.

For what it's works in my KDE 4.14.x on Slackware 14.2.

Hi Frank,

The sidebar works in Mint 10 & 17 for me too but not in NEON which is where I'm trying to get it to function.

Anyone have any ideas?

The sidebar was removed in Konqueror 16.12. Whether it has been re-added since, I have no idea, but it doesn't look to be the case.

Frankly, I don't thing Dophin holds a candle to Konqueror as a file manager, but that's just me.
