Konqueror: Icons/file names don't show up for home dir

When I use Konqueror to navigate my filesystem, when I go to my home directory, there are no icons or file names. All other directories work fine.

I uninstalled KDE (3.1) and installed 3.2, but the problem remains. That means it's probably a config file somewhere, but which one?

Running:
KDE 3.2
Slackware 10

Thanks in advance.

since you upgraded kde now is a good time to delete your ~/.kde folder anyway
the old one is incompatable and will make kde run slow/bad
after you delete the folder restart kde and let config wiz write you new 3.2 configs
kde will run better and this will solve other problem as well
