Konqueror, Firefox & Mozilla but only one works

I am running Suse 10 on an AMD64 + Asus A8N-SLI + Nvidia 6600 and my internet connection is via a D-Link DSL-504T Broadband Router. My current pressing question is "Why cant I connect to the internet with Mozilla & Firefox when Konqueror works fine and Suse picked up the internet connection fine while it was installing?" I prefer Firefox purely for the look really but I cant understand the problem its having. There are no error messages apart from the "time out".
