Konqueror crashes

(OS RH9)
My problem started after I install Linneighborhood Konq will open for a second then crash if I start it from a root shell I get this error /tmp/mcop-tied is not owned by user I know is a permissions problem but I don't know how to fix it

Please help me

chown username:usergroup filelocation

Your username and usergroup are the same. This way you can set the ownership.

If you just need to set the permissions use chmod (chmod --help for the options)

I tried root and my user name it still crashes

[root@localhost tied]# chown tied:tied /tmp/mcop-tied
[root@localhost tied]# konqueror
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding
/tmp/mcop-tied is not owned by user
[root@localhost tied]# chown root:root /tmp/mcop-tied
[root@localhost tied]# konqueror
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding
/tmp/mcop-tied is accessible owned by user
[root@localhost tied]#
