Konquerer Settings in Mandrake 9.2
Hi there everyone,
Bit of a newbie to Linux here, only a small amount of experience. I am currently using Mandrake Linux 9.2 on my laptop, and everything is going great. The only thing I cannot figure out, is how to remove the bookmarks saved by default within Konquerer. I enjoy using it as a web browser, and I think it's a great systems file browser. I have tried deleting them from the bookmarks menu and saving settings, but then they soon restore themselves. If anyone could shed any light on this subject, it will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, bLaCk |
Bookmarks>Edit Bookmarks
delete them all then Save before you exit |
Problem #1 Solved
Thanks a lot for that information!
I was taking it for granted that it automatically saved anything you did in those views. Guess I've been using Windows too much , but at least that ones sorted now. Since my last post, I've discovered how to logon as root in the terminal while in my own user account and install RPMs in protected directories, so I think I'm progressing quite well in the world of Linux :D. Anyway, I have another small problem now, so will start another thread as it's unrelated to Konquerer. Many thanks again, bLaCk |
