Kommander Editor under KDE 3.1.4
Hello. I have installed Slackware 9.1, and am using KDE 3.1.4
First off I would like to say this is my first experience with linux, and I am very impressed.
I have already gotten into playing with many of the features included, and so far I have run into but two problems. The one I will post here is with the Kommander Editor.
There were actually two problems with this.
1. Whenever I try to close the program (whether by clicking the x, alt-f4, file-exit, etc..) I get a crash dialog after the program shuts down. I can supply the info within that dialog if it will help.
2. Whenever I left click on a file and choose: Open With - Editors - Kommander, I practically lock up my computer. the only way to save myself from the program is to logout of KDE. Immediately upon opening the program a dialog asks me to choose either a new dialog or window. The problem is that after I make a choice the window returns and asks me to choose again. I have tried closing Kommander in every way possible. I choose cancel on the dialog, click the x, etc... Everytime, a new dialog opens up asking me the same exact thing. I finally had to logout of KDE and get back in - quickly shutting down Kommander as it started with KDE.
Problem temporarily solved - I simply won't be using it again until I can get it working properly. Any help or pointers in where I can research this further would be appreciated.
