KOffice Integration. How?
Hello fellow geeks,

I'm trying to figure out why Koffice isn't integrated for me. Right now, it's just a bunch of components (KWord, KSpread, Kexi, KChart, etc.) that don't communicate with each other. For example, if I try to insert a chart in a KSpread sheet with data, nothing happens. Insert -> Chart, and a resounding silence. Absolutely nothing!
What's wrong here?

ok.. this might sound silly, but being used to working with excel so much before I started with kspread, I just assumed that when I did Insert->chart it would automatically do something. When in fact what I had to do was select some data and then try inserting a chart. There's a good chance this has nothing to do with your problem, just my 2 cents

Actually, I did select my data before doing Insert -> Chart. I wasn't even aware Excel brings up the chart wizard even if no data is selected (but that's a tangent).
