I searched the forum for any info on knoppix-std and found nothing, maybe its just me.
Any way the Knoppix-std distro has a nifty load of security tools loaded on it and the best part is no installation

If it's Knoppix, then go to the KNOPPIX menu and choose Root Console. At the prompt, enter knx-hdinstall. You will be walked through installing it to the harddisk. You will need a partition for it, but I'm not sure how big. I think 2 gig. You might try www.knoppix.net and look through the forums and FAQs.
