Knoppix screen oddity : not critical
 

Good morning.

I started playing with cd based distro's and managed to get Knoppix looking right on my computer. I have a old Nokia monitor and nothing picks it up right. So I started Knoppix with

boot:knoppix xmodule=vesa lang=en

Put up a pretty good screen. Then I started playing around with saving the configuration and now Knoppix put a small band up at the top of the screen and won't display. Not critical, but has anyone with an old monitor had this problem? It looks like vesa doesn't work anymore. Thanks everyone.
