Knoppix 6.0-Cool

Well I complained and complained on this board a couple of weeks ago because I couldn't get knoppix 5.3 (i think) to recognize my wireless card among other things. Well I'm typing this on Knoppix 6.0 and man is it cool. Obviously can pick up my wireless card, its got Adrianne the talking robix for set up if you want to use it. Had to mute him. Also in order to get out of the Adriane set up you have to choose graphics card then full xterm setup. This is not mentioned during setup had to research it....so i'm good thanks to the people who gave me the wisdom that 5.3 just did not have my drivers and in the later software and later versions will...

you know when it comes to hardware it is about the kernel ok not the distro. If you must use a live cd then it may come down to the distro. edition. but if you installed a system and then when a newer kernel comes out for newer hardware Every 6 moths or less then you will have more fun. I like knoppix for a debian distro I think it is well thought out.
I am glad to see you hacking away at the keys.
