Post kmyfirewall Vs shorewall


What's the best ?

If I would to use kmyfirewall, but I have installed shorewall, should I uninstall shorewall ?

you wouldn't have to remove it, but possibly disable it if it starts automatically. As far as what is best. Learning IPtables would be best since you would gain more control over the system. Check out iptablesrocks.org for some good info.
