KMS with radeon gives garbled screen with x

first of all: please excuse me when i spell something wrong or so, i'm from germany and my english is not the best

hey i just tried to install kernel-modesetting on my laptop with an ati xpress 200m under debian. when i boot up everything is fine, the framebuffer sets the correct resolution and dmesg tells me
"[drm] radeon: kernel modesetting successfully initialized."

but when i start Xorg, i get a green screen with blue stripes from top to bottom and a 64x64px big square which moves when i move the mouse

here are my logfiles
dmesg: http://olli.keller-delirium.de/dmesg.txt
xorg.log: http://olli.keller-delirium.de/xorg.txt

if someone could help me, please do so
olli
