Kmix "master" volume channel.

How can I make this correct? With most distro's i've ever used, this channel doesn't work. It isn't that big of a deal, but I always have to right click and goto "show mixer window" to use the correct channel. If I single click on the icon in my sys tray, the master channel pops up, but if I change the volume using it, it does nothing. Any way to correct this?

Help apreciated. Thanks.

Alsa yes. Uhh for whatever reason the PCM and HEADPHONE channels control the volume *odd*. It's using the Intel82801BA-ich2 driver..or something of the sort.
