Unhappy Kmail--Unbalanced Brackets

I have MDK 9.1 and am using Kmail as my mail client. Whenever I try to send email I get the following error message:

Sending failed:
The server did not accept the sender address.
The server responded: "Command MAIL unbalanced brackets "
The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the problem (e.g. a broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox' folder.
Note: Other messages will also be blocked by this message, as long as it is in the 'outbox' folder
The following transport protocol was used:
Access4Less

Any idea why this would happen? How to fix it?

Thanks,
Ted.

RE: How to fix it

When you send mail you'll notice it is sent with either <user> or empty brackets <> i.e. Ted M. <user> when it should be Ted M. <mooreted@nowhere.com>. Edit the account (your username) in Kmail so that your email address is listed in the dialog box and you should have no more problems.

I am at work right now so if you have any trouble, post back and I'll take a look when I get back home to my penguin.

Have a good one,
Ted.
