kmail/spamassasin/clamav question

Hello,

I installed spamassasin as a plugin to kmail. It is working, but very poorly, it captures almost none of the spam and considers good email as spam. I have been training it for about three weeks. Is there a place where I can config it, change the options, if so how do I access it? Is there something better, Kmail has plugin options for spamassasin, bogofilter and one other program. Do any of the others work better or are more configureable? Also I plugged in Clamav to kmail. But I have no idea if it is working or not. I never see any thing that show clamav is checking or working. Is there a way to tell?

Are there graphical interfaces to these programs (spamassasin, clamav) and if so how do I get to them?

Thanks
Kezz

I would rather use Thunderbird than kmail if I were you. It's gotta be trained too, but learns a whole lot faster. It took me 22 spam messages to make it catch only spam. I still check the spambox regularly, and there is no real mail.
Regarding clamav, you don't need it. You're running Linux. The chance of winning a lottery with 4 million contestants is larger than getting a virus that harms Linux.
Click here to check out Thunderbird
And there is a GUI for Clamav, it's called Klamav.
