KMail old files config

I have a disk with old mails from KMail in Suse 9.2. I have mounted the disk, but cannot find a way to open these old mails as a folder in KMail. Where can I configure this?

I am currently on SuSE 10.0 with KDE.

I've been managing my email for years with Kmail by making a directory for each year and then making a link called Mail to the active directory.

$ ls -ld Mail
lrwxrwxrwx 1 turtle users 10 2006-01-10 10:55 Mail -> .mail.2006
$ ls -lda .mail*
drwx------ 7 turtle turtle 1024 2006-01-01 12:23 .mail.2003
drwx------ 32 turtle turtle 5120 2006-01-01 12:23 .mail.2004
drwx------ 31 turtle turtle 15360 2006-01-10 10:54 .mail.2005
drwx------ 24 turtle turtle 3072 2006-01-22 04:56 .mail.2006
$

Ummm...., yes but where is the active directory? I found it in 9.2, but can't find it now.

Ouch, the problem is that I cannot mount the disk anymore.

I can mount it again, and found that somehow I couldn't make links work. So I moved the directories to the current mail folder, in new subfolders named oldinbox etc.. Then I moved the index files to their appropriate locations and now I can read them again. It's simpler from a backup point of view this way, so I wont bother about the links for now.
