kmail: can I restore settings from and old kmailrc?

I installed a new SUSE 11.0 and would like to restore my old mails, addresses and settings (accounts and so on) from a backup of my old SUSE 10.3

I succeeded on recover the mails (~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail) but can't copy the content of ~/.kde/share/config.kmailrc where the settings are. Ever time I try it, Kmail erases what I copy in it.

Thanks in advance,
Toni

Thanks, that help a bit: I recovered the contacts and addresses. As for the accounts, I set them again from scratch.
