Kmail and gpg
Hi everybody.
May be some of you know the answer to my question. I am trying to configure Kmail with PGP. I followed steps described in http://userbase.kde.org/KMail/PGP_MIME The official manual says: 3. Then click Modify > Advanced > OpenPGP Key 4. It will automatically go to the path of your gpgkey, that is ~/.gnupg In reality: It does not automatically go anywhere, but provides a menu to change OpenPGP encryption key. When I click on the button to change my key it shows me a selection menu with my key in it. When I select it, the red cross appears on the icon near the key and the "OK" button remains grey, so I can not do anything. Did anybody try to configure Kmail with GPG? How do you configure Kmail to use your keys? Thanks for help. |
I didn't have a problem with the key generated on the same computer that I used Kmail with.
I found these, sounds very similar to your situation: http://oggcastplanet.org/notblog/?x=...411;comments:1 http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...alpine-752687/ Kinda like the problem of unsigned imported keys: http://bugs.kde.org/44699 |
