kio_audiocd and kde 4.2.2: autoplay and mixer bypass

I was ripping an audio cd for the first time with kde 4.2.2. I noticed that every time an application uses the audiocd protocol, managed by kio_audiocd, an autoplay of the cd starts with low volume, volume that is unaffected by mixer settings. There's no way to stop cd playing or to change track, the only solution is to close the application and wait for a while.

Examples:
-browsing audiocds with konqueror
-browsing audiocds with dolphin (by typing audiocd:/ as path)
-extracting tracks with kaudiocreator

Moreover, this problem slows down ripping.

Can somebody confirm this problem?
