Keyboard Unresponsive Gutsy Compiz Fusion
 

Hello I was able to install Kubuntu 7.10 in an Alieware m5550 with a Radeon x1400 a few days ago. I was able to install compiz fusion on it. Compiz worked fine for a day and then last night when I tried to make the cube, suddenly my keyboard became unresponsive and I couldn't make the cube anymore.
My mouse works fine. I can open programs, but the only thing I can't do is to type. Is there a way to unlock the keyboard or make it responsive?
