keyboard/Typing keys not working on suse 10.0
 
Hi - To whom it may concern

I'm able to log into my suse machine 10.0 with ID & Password with no problem ... Onces Linux start in KDE mode, I am unable to type anything on my machine .... its as if the keyboard doesn't work at all on the machine. .. Mouse work fine, but no respond from the keyboard ...

I have an IBM Think Center machine and IBM Keyboard & Mouse plug into a OmniView SE-4 port (Belkan) ....basicall I share the keyboard & mouse with multiple machine on my OmminView Port. Keyboard & Mouse works fine in my WinXP machine but keyboard not working on my linux Suse machine 10.0 ....

Try the Kde Menu -> Control Center -> Peripherals -> Keyboard to see if you can configure it that way.

I went too Control Center -> Peripherals ->Keyboard and select Default setting ....
Nothing working ....

I selected Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout ..selected Default setting ... nothing working...

I selected shortcuts default ... nothing working ...

I went into Control Center, Regional & Accessibility ... and went into Accessibility and selected all the default setting ... Keyboard working fine ... thanks too everybody for their help ...
