Keyboard receptiveness problem I think!

Hello, I think I'm at the right site for this question because it should be adjustable (keyboard).
First off I'm a 2 finger typist that is experiencing a problem with letters not typing for some reason lately. In other words when I type a sentence/word sometimes/often a letter will be dropped and I have to back up and retype!

Running SUSE Open 10.2. Very fast system so that is not the problem.

Open to suggestions as to the problem.

Have you tried cleaning under the keys? That may be the culprit. Or use a second keyboard to mae sure the problem is with the k/b and not elsewhere?

Yes, I've tried electronics cleaner and compressed air.

If it's a USB keyboard or ps/2 keyboard I'd suggest prising the keys off and cleaning them in water/soap - I've never yet destroyed a keyboard doing that!

Alternatively, do you have a second keyboard you can use so that you can see if it's a problem with the keyboard or the OS?
