Keyboard not initalizing with GRUB anymore

Hi everyone, I'm a fairly new convert to linux and I love the freedom OSS has to offer, yet I dual boot because sometimes I need to use windows for certain applications, I've been doing this for about a month or two now, but recently my keyboard isnt initializing in GRUB. I tried to select windows but it wont go. Its been about a week since I have needed to boot into windows so im not sure exactly how long this has been going on.

I have a feeling this is something beyond GRUB, as I cant even use the kb to get into BIOS.
Im useing a ps/2 keyboard btw so I dont think its any kind of driver isue or anything.

EDIT:

haha I'm so stupid, I recently moved my computer and I pluged the kb into the mouse ps/2 port. I guess linux itself could recongnize it once it loaded up, but the BIOS couldnt, thanks anyway

Welcome to LQ & thank you for posting your solution. Also, congrats on being able to find it your self.

I used to go after old 0-reply posts, & if the OP didn't seem to be active, send something like:
"Are you still there?
Do you still need help?"
But a mod, don't remember who, told me not to do that. Has anyone hassled you?
