keyboard installation - mandrake 9.1

i have just installed mandrake 9.1 on my pc with dualboot for win xp too. when i was installing the mouse & kb worked fine. now when i boot into mandrake only the mouse works, the kb's dead. its an RF keyboard - so no cable - how do i get the keyboard configured without being able to use it ???????
