Keyboard doesn't work during mandrake 10.0 instalation

I'm trying to install mandrake 10 on my amd 3200+ comp. But when i boot the installing program and is asks from me to press Alt+F1 to continue or something, the keyboard doesn't work anymore. Is there anyway to fix this problem or to bypass it. Btw its an microsoft keyboard (sorry 'bout that). I've already tried switching it, but that doesn't seem to be working aswell.

Try the USB-Ps2 Connector if you have one...

That's the problem it's already an ps2 keyboard. The lights on my keyboard just go out. I've already tried 3 different keyboard, none of them working.
