kexec modul creation

Hello,

In the kernel 2.4 the kexec tool is not implemented. This means, that you canít use it and it is not possible to recompile the kernel 2.4 with kexec. Itís pity, but I need the 2.4 kernel. The kexec implementation in the 2.6 kernel is a passage and it needs header and so on. Is it possible to copy this passage and create a module for the 2.4 kernel? I heard about that, but I donít have any experiences. Is there a good howto for module creation?

Regards
