theres nothing really being made...the majority of what you see is either the fluxbox/blackbox WM with somekind of desktop switching tool, which i am not sure if that is packed with flux/black and gkrellm up on the right...

and if you want to analyze everything else, all the rest of it is just a minimized mozilla browser, a terminal, and xmms media player

Yup; blackbox with Gkrellm. The music player up top is, of course, XMMS. That log that's been stuck right on the desktop without a window was probably done with a neat utility like root-tail , which I used to use and found kinda' handy.

not hard at all...doesn't hurt to experience
read the readme and install it and set it to execute instead of your present WM and you'll see that its easy to revert back to your currently used WM if need be

hmmm.. What a bad screen!
I'm sure I can't work on that PC for more than 5 minutes.
I like plain and clean, professional style screen.

I downloaded the tar.gz but when I click it it ask what program to use to open it with what do I do to uncompress in?
