kernel-source installation

I tried to install libncurses5-devel package to provide ncurses-devel package which is needed to install kernel-source.
I got a dependancy error:
"devel (libgpm) and devel (libm) are necessary to install libncurses5-devel "

For information, the following packages are already installed:
gcc-3.2.2-3mdk
libgcc1-3.2.2-3mdk
glibc-2.3.1-10mdk
glibc-debug-2.3.1-10mdk
glibc-devel-2.3.1-10mdk
libstdc++5-3.2.2-3mdk
libstdc++5-devel-3.2.2-3mdk
libgpm1-1.20.1-9mdk
ncurses-5.3-1.20030215.1mdk
libncurses5-5.3-1.20030215.3mdk

I didn't manage to install libncurses-devel and libgpm1-devel for the same reasons.
I didn't manage to find libm package.

Thanks a lot for your help

P.S.: I use Mandrake 9.1

if these are rpms, put them in the same directory and use:

rpm -ivh *.rpm

and i should sort it out. this worked for me when i used redhat anyway.

For mandrake you can use urpmi. man urpmi. It will get all your dependecies for you once you have all your sources configured.
