Kernel panic message after Fedora 3 Installation
I installed FC 3 variant(pcq linux 2005)and after completion of installation and booting to the Fedora boot ( i already installed Win Xp in primary partiton and the FC 3 installed on extended partition .my system is Piii 1.0 Ggh) i am getting the following message and hangs the system.

Ok, booting the kernel. ACPI : BIOS age(1997) failes cutoff(2001),acpi=force is required to enable ACPI audit (1117036806.309:0) : initialized Red Hat nash version 4.1.18 starting Kernel panic- not syncing: drivers /ide/pci/piix.c:232:spin-lock (drivers/ide.c:c0365448) already locked by drivers /ide/ide-iops.c/1222 ------ Previously i successfully instaled and run the same installation without any problems. after formattiong and installing the FC 3 distro again iam getting this problem. help me to overcome this problem. |
