kernel panic : attempted to kill the idle task


hi all,

while compiling linux kernel version 2.2.20.
the following error message occured.

Posix confirmance testing by unifix
unable to handle kernel null pointer dereference at virtual address
...

kernel panic : attempted to kill idle task
in swap task not syncing.

plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me out.
