kernel conflict message: what to do?

Hey all,

I went into YaST "Install and Remove Software" utility and it immediately posted a warning saying:

kernel-smp 2.6.4-52 conflict--
Conflict resolution:
*downgrade kernel-smp-2.6.5-7.108 to Version 2.6.4-52
*ignore conflict and risk system inconsistencies

What do I do about this...? What inconsistencies could occur? Thanks for the help. Cheers!

i've never used suse -- IMHO the thhing should give you more information

if alongside that kernel you have precompiled modules/drivers installed
that are for another kernel version -- **that's a bad thing**

but heh -- if everything is working ok ????
