kernel config -lncurses

When trying to make menuconfig I get
>> Unable to find the Ncurses libraries.
>> You must have Ncurses installed in order
>> to use 'make menuconfig'

Which package do I need to install to get this?

If you are using Debian the name of the package is libncurses5-dev. I also suggest you install the package called kernel-package, which will aid in creating .deb packages for the kernels you build. You can then install this package easily on several computers, plus the whole upgrading process becomes automated.
