once again, i haven't a clue, which is why i am still going to recommend you do a kernel recompile, enabling i2c all as modules (except do not enable debugging)

if you think this may screw up your kernel, just save this config somewhere safe

Hmm... Try enabling ACPI support in the kernel, and make sure the acpi=off option is set to acpi=on in your bootloader (I use lilo, but grub cant be that different I suppose ).

ACPI is enabled in my kernel, and allways has been.
Iĺl give the acpi = on line a go though and let you know
what happens.

i'm getting the same crap he is. i've got sensors working, but gkrellm doesn't see the cpu temp. cpu temp works under command line sensors, so it's gotta be gkrellm. sensors didn't work until i compiled the new user space tools. i guess my old gkrellm can't read those right.

that was it for me. i compiled the newest gkrellm and the temps work, and everything.
i was using gkrellm 1.2.2 before though.

maybe delete your .gkrellm2 directory in your home dir, and let it reconfig.
