keep having to load network driver at bootup

Hi,

I recently upgraded my kernel to 2.6.3-1-686, now everytime I reboot the computer I have to load my network driver. What do I need to edit in order for the driver to load automatically at bootup?

ps. also recently downloaded openbox, what do I edit so it shows up in the gdm? its not in my /etc/gdm/sessions btw.

Thank you
Dswissmiss

Edit /etc/modprobe.d/aliases and add the line:
Code:
alias eth0 <appropriate module>
That will tell linux that whenever it wants to use eth0 to load the module. If that doesn't work then just add the module name to /etc/modules.
