KDM users [solved]

I'm running KDE 3.3.0 on a Gentoo distro, but I bumped into a problem when I switched to kdm. It only displayed the root user in the users-list. I've checked the KDM Admin Panel in the control center, but the norma users and groups don't get listed there. Am I missing something, like a config file, or the normal users must be part of a special group?

Okay, forget about that, I solved it. It seems I was hidinguserswith the UID below 1000 and al my users had UIDs starting at 500.
