kdevelop error on MDK 10

I just installed Kdevelop 3.0.3 on MDK 10. When I try to run the program it gives me an error:

"Unable to find plugins, kdevelop will not work properly. Please make sure kdevelop is installed in your kde directory..."

It is in the kde dir /usr/local/kde/bin/kdevelop. I've tried chown to my user name. Tried running the program in root. Everything compiled and installed fine but just gives me this error and kdevelop folds.

Any suggestions, please!

Thanks
jon

I believe Mandrake uses non standard directories. So before you make Kdevelop

you should run configure as follows.

./configure --prefix=/usr
