kdetv compile-problem: WARNING

I've read different howto's and it seems quiete easy to get kdetv running. I've got a Medion-TV-card (Tevion MD9717 with Philips-Tuner) and I'm using Debian3 on a 800MHz-Pentium. Mplayer is compiled with different codecs and works great on that machine.

I tried to "lsmod":
Code:
video_buf 20356 1 saa7134
v4l2_common 6400 1 saa7134
v4l1_compat 13572 1 saa7134
i2c_core 22416 1 saa7134
ir_common 5124 1 saa7134
videodev 9856 1 saa7134
It seems that the drivers were installed automatically by Debian-Install. Is that right like that? I don't have to install any drivers for my card?

Well, I downloaded the binary package via apt but kdetv didn't find one channel on the whole bandwidth. So. I decided to compile the sources by myself.

All I want is watching TV, not recording, yet. After installing depencies and re-compiling kdetv, I couldn't get a solution for that: When I run ./configure, kdetv means:
Code:
-----------------blabla-------------------------
checking linux/videodev.h usability... no
checking linux/videodev.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: see the Autoconf documentation
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: section "Present But Cannot Be Compiled"
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: linux/videodev.h: in the future, the compiler will take precedence
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to the AC_PACKAGE_NAME lists. ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------------ ##
checking for linux/videodev.h... yes
-----------------blabla-------------------------
After that, ./configure ends successfull and tells me of continueing with "make". So I did, but there were a lot of errors and kdetv wasn't compiled at all.

So, what would you advise me to install? What does the error message below mean?

Thanks for all advises
