kdesvn How to commit my changes to a repository on a server, not on my local HDD?

I'm on Mageia 6 and using KDESVN. Almost all the machines here are Windows and use Tortoise SVN.

I've checked out a project from the svn server here and got it on to my machine, made some changes and tried to commit. I've tried that by right clicking in konqueror and selecting commit (an option which wasn't there until I backed up my changes to another directory locally) re-checked in the repository and copied the changes into the freshly re-checked in repository.

I've also tried it by opening KDESVN and attempting to commit from there.

However, I cannot find a way to commit the changes to the network drive, only locally.

With Toroise SVN it just works.

What am I doing wrong here? I assume it must be possible to commit to the repository on the network drive with KDESVN?

Many thanks.

Have you tried the command line?

Git commit
Git push

It's svn, not git! However, I could try the equivalent in svn I guess and see what happens
