kdesu No Longer Supported in FC5

It seems as if kdesu -c *command* is no longer supported with Fedora Core 5. I used this command to give some of my programs that I executed with launchers (shortcut icons) on the top menu bar root control, such as nmapfe, which requires root control in order to function correctly.

For people that are not familiar with kdesu, it simplies asks for the root password to run the program as root when launched. Are there any alternatives to this with FD5?

Thanks in Advance!

Strange. I use kdesu al the time in FC5. Perhaps you $PATH is not yet set when you are asking it to run. Try /usr/bin/kdesu. If it's not there, make sure you've installed KDE. (kdesu is in, I believe, kdebase.)
