KDEinit (3.3) keeping my USB device busy.

When i put my USB device into my box and mount it with KDE then open it with konqueror i can never unmount it when i am done. I go to command line and do a "ps aux | grep usb" and it tells me that kdeinit has a konqueror process that is using it and keeping it busy even though no windows are open. I can kill the process (it responds to signal 15) and then i can unmount just great. Anyone know how to fix this?
