KDE widget cannot be moved
 

I am running KDE on Manjaro (Arch-based) Linux and it is otherwise working very well. The system is well updated and since it is rolling release, it has latest KDE (the version does not appear in 'About KDE').

However, recently I tried to run a windows exe file through wine. That changed the display settings to lower one. I subsequently changed it back to 1600*900. But since then I have found that KDE desktop widgets cannot be moved around. After I unlock widgets, I hover the mouse pointer over widgets, the handle for size, position and settings of widget does not appear. The desktop widgets are fixed in their position now. I have tried removing them and adding them again. But they get fixed to the position they are first set since no handle appears subsequently. Has anyone else also experienced this problem? How can this be solved? Thanks for your replies.

Edit: https://blogs.kde.org/2015/04/28/mov...without-handle clarified that I have to left-click and hold for the handle to appear. I am marking this as solved.
